The Swedish Wind Ensemble seeks a Bass Trombone player and Tuba player.

Bass Trombone Audition

(with duty to also perform tenor trombone)

Wednesday, 19 August 2026
Required work: A. Lebedev – Bass Trombone Concerto, up to and including the cadenza

Tuba Audition

Thursday, 20 August 2026
Required works:

1. Vaughan Williams – Tuba Concerto, Movements I and II
2. Blazhevich – Solo Study in C

Orchestral Excerpts Round

Friday, 21 August 2026
(for candidates who qualify on 19–20 August)

The positions are permanent appointments at 50% employment, with a six-month probationary period according to agreement.
